Promote Your Blog On The Blog Registry

cooltext402072844.jpg

Welcome to Blogging Without A Blog’s “Blog Registry”.

As a blog author, I love to find and promote other bloggers. Additionally, I love to introduce bloggers to each other. For that reason, I’ve created a “Blog Registry”.

This post will remain open indefinitely. If you are a blogger, leave a comment and introduce yourself to other bloggers telling them why your blog is worthy of visiting.

Remember, this is a great opportunity to “sell yourself”.

For hints on what to include in your introduction, I would suggest:

1) Your name and a brief description of who you are
2) The name of your blog
3) The subject of your blog
4) What others can expect when they land on your blog
5) One link to your blog is acceptable. If you have more than one blog, leave two comments.

If you haven’t done so already, a “welcome” post (on your blog) might be a good idea. In it, tell new visitors more about your blog, list your favorite posts and/or most commented on posts, etc. Upon completion of your “welcome post”, leave your comment and link to that post.

Here are the Blog Registry rules:

1) Only one link is permitted within your comment (CommentLuv may be providing a second link)
2) Each blog must have written content – No “advertising only” blogs are permitted
3) No nudity or obscene language is allowed
4) No spamming or duplicate entries will be approved.
5) For this post only, it’s essential your introductory comment(s) stay on topic.*
6) Your comment may go into moderation or my spam folder. Please be patient while I sort through the entries as I will be visiting your blog prior to approval.

*For additional questions, comments and/or concerns about the Blog Registry, please follow this link to: “Blog Registry – Open Mic” and we can discuss this further.

This is a great opportunity for all bloggers who hope to meet other bloggers, grow your blog communities, and increase traffic to your blogs.

Spread the word and tell others to join in.

I’m looking forward to seeing your name on the list.

.

P.S. Want to follow the ever growing list of bloggers? Either subscribe to email alerts for this post, or subscribe to my comments.

  1. My name is Robin and I live in Melbourne, Australia.

My blog is called ‘Let’s Live Forever!’ It is essentially about healing ourselves and being all that we can be – my hope is that visitors find inspiration in my posts. I would love to hear from you!

Click on my name to find my blog, and I have a ‘Featured Posts’ page here:

  2. Let’s see if I don’t mess it up. Not very sure about the rules.

OK, here it goes. I have another blog, a novel meant for younger readers titled: “Call it Freedom”.

    What’s about?:

It is the story of a nearby future, not too dark but neither too bright.

A world ravaged by economic failure and a drastic solution, slavery.

Follow the trials of Jonathan, a 12 years old, a bright student and a slave of a Scientific Institution . . .

. . . which works to upgrade the intelligence of dolphins.

And his unlikely friend Ruben, who attends the same public school, a fat, not so popular boy . . .

. . . but a free boy, living with his easy going uncles.

It is a story of friendship, courage, and adventure on land and sea

    . . . and a solar powered Zeppelin.

    Call it Freedom
    Friendship, courage and adventure

  3. My name is Eric Hamm and my blog is “Motivate Thyself”. The link I just provided goes to a post that explains who I am and what I’m about. It does a better job of explaining these things than I can do for you right here, so feel free to check it out.

But in short, I’m a passionate person who believes is simplicity with a side of success. Personal responsibility with a strong focus no support for others. I love seeing people succeed and sharing in that experience. So I guess you could say that the tone of my blog encompasses that idea. My tag line is “Your Freedom Depends On It” if that helps you understand the value I put on self motivation.

Community is paramount in blogging so it is community that I seek when I right my posts. So I hope you get a chance to check it out and feel free to leave a comment before you leave. 🙂 Eric.

  4. My second blog is Up-And-Coming-Blogger. It’s my place to share my blogging experiences as well as help up-and-coming-bloggers learn the ‘tricks of the trade’. I share a lot of How Tos and try to point out resources that I think may help a new blogger get off on the right foot.

I also make it a point to ‘leave the door open’ when it comes to other bloggers needing assistance. From re-designing themes to troubleshooting issues, I try to do whatever I can to help a blogger in need.

So whether you just want to take a look or you have some issues you need resolved, feel free to stop by and say hello. As I said, my door is always open! Eric.

My blog is “A Day to Share with Tammy” and the title does say it all. I awoke one day after reading a book of my favorite sayings and one stuck out in particular.

“Write it on your heart that every day is the best day of the year.” -Ralph Waldo Emerson

We live in an incredibly hurried, stress-filled time in which we often feel our lives are not only out of control but have become meaningless. Stop and look right in front of you. There is the meaning. I grab the camera and freeze the moment. The rest I write about.

  16. My name is Catherine Lawson, or you may call me Cath – my blog does. I have several years of business experience and I enjoy sharing my successes and mistakes with readers.

The name of my blog is CathLawson.com

My blog is about starting a business that is right for you and gives you the lifestyle you want.

When visiting my blog, I hope you’ll gather enough material to create the business that gives you the lifestyle you want. I don’t blog about the amount of money I’ve earned in business, like some.

The majority of my readers are above average intelligence and they prefer to learn stuff they can apply in real life, rather than some “make millions like me hype.” And they realise from my work that I’ve actually made money from previous businesses.

A ridiculous number of bloggers have only made money from telling others how to run a business. And to me – that’s like teaching folk how to fly when you don’t even have a pilot’s licence. With me, you get the real deal.

I’ve decided to showcase Loving Pulse. My new blog will be launching hopefully very soon. I have created a Welcome Page at this link http://lovingpulse.wordpress.com/welcome-page/

And, here is my intro for the Blog Registry.

I am a Life Coach and a writer.

Loving Pulse is my personal blog and the doorway into my Self.

It is my opportunity to share with you what moves me through the light days and the dark days, and what I have learned out there… and in here.

I am a gentle, playful and introspective soul who likes to dig for truth and practice trusting my intuition along the way. Nature is one of my biggest inspirations and I will quite often use metaphors to illustrate my message.

The interaction between a Life Coach and their client creates clarity, reveals more choice of direction and moves the client into action. I don’t claim to have answers to your challenges because what works for me is my own truth. I hope that by sharing my perspectives you will be inspired to recognize yours.

Its purpose is to let people know what Wausau Whitewater is, what we do, and what we will be doing and highlight whitewater related things that impact Wausau.

  28. Hi Barbara

Transformative Living is an intentional practice. It is about the choices we make, based on our values and our level of self awareness of our intentions in each moment.

In this blog I contemplate, explore, make my own comments, share insights, explore edges and challenges, celebrate successes and even mourn losses and add links and ideas I find websurfing all about well-being.

My hope and dream is to just share this journey with you and to have you share your journey with us (our community of blog readers).

So who am I? Well, as Thich Nhat Hahn says I am everyone…but, conventionally, I identify socially as a wife, mother, teacher, Focusing trainer & coach and Reiki Master. I love helping people bring their lives into balance, connect with their heart’s desires and live authentically. My passions are teaching & coaching in choice-full values-based living, compassionate communication, self-awareness & wellbeing practices based upon Focusing, Mindfulness, Meditaton, Nonviolent Communication, & Energy Medicine.

I blog daily and love answering comments, questions and reflecting on the dilemmas we all face in life.

  29. This is my second blog based on the practice of empathy & nonviolent communication and a belief that sometimes we just need someone to listen deeply. Empathy Angel is set up like an advice column but has less of the advising, labelling and moralising and more empathising, coaching, enquiring, and deep listening to feelings and needs leading to understanding and empowerment.

Do you have a question that is puzzling you?
Are you trying to make a decision?
Are you wanting some clarity or understanding?

Empathy Angel can help you connect with your inner wisdom and your deepest values so that you have a better idea about what to do, what to say or how to relate.

Empathy Angel is here to empathise, listen, sense what you need or value, care, be curious and compassionate.

Just ask a question, tell your story, explore your feelings, confusions, dilemmas and even the joy, the celebrations and the fun times.

This is a space to care for all ~to feel connected~and to be who you are with acceptance, awareness and love.

I am a stay-at-home mom of three who aspires to be a published novelist someday. So my blog posts usually revolve around writing and family. I write from the perspective of someone who spent her first fifteen years of life in the tropics (the Philippines) and now live in the desert (Utah, USA).

I also enjoy writing about things that make me happy (like pink things, funny movies, colorful dishes and clogging) and invite you, my reader, to share what makes YOU happy.

Well now, not everything is just hunky-dory in la-la land. But…even in the sad or difficult happenings in life, I try to see the good in them.

  49. My name is Adam and I blog at several places, including under my real name. Out of all the various blogs, I’d like to tell you about one particular site, Only The Internet’s Best Reviews, where we review anything and everything.

The big difference between OTIBR and every other review site is that we do not view the item we’re reviewing as existing in a bubble. We take the social impact of the item into account. From a simple orange to a computer or a car, everything has some impact on our environment and society on a global scale. At OTIBR we consider that impact, along with the item’s value, quality, and innovation to give you a well-rounded review.

Upon arriving at OTIBR, you’ll be greeted with various reviews with images giving you a better idea of the item. We strive for honesty and disclosure in our reviews and feel you’ll find our take valuable and unique. We look forward to seeing and hearing from you!

P.S. Barbara, this list is a great idea and one I may have to mimic! Thanks for the free publicity!

  56. I started writing in July after a break of many years. I am now doing a creative writing course to further hone my skills (hopefully!). My blog is mainly humor and parenting based. I have loved the reaction from friends, family and strangers which has spurred me on.

I am a married mother of two (aged 2 and a half & 4), stepmother to one (aged 13). I have coasted through life without much purpose until my children arrived. Now my purpose is to survive the next 18 years without going bald or losing my marbles. I am well aware that some of my marbles are out there already … stuck behind the sofa cushions, one of them in the Lego box and the 2 year old has inadvertently swallowed the other.

I have been blogging for a little over a year with my blog Spiritual Journey Of A Lightworker found at http://patriciasingleton.blogspot.com . I write about, as the blog title says, my spiritual journey through life. The topics are broad with several different areas of interest. I write about my spiritual journeys to India, about my childhood experiences with incest and the healing journey that I have traveled as an adult incest survivor. I write about my healing journey with the help of Al-Anon and Adult Children of Alcoholics meetings. I have written articles about the people who have inspired me the most. I write about the books that I read and the information that I gather. Most of my writing is to hopefully inspire other survivors to grow and leave the abuse of childhood behind.

What can you expect to find when you visit my blog—some laughter, some tears, some anger, some fears, some inspiration, some tools for growth.

I chose the name for my blog because it seemed kind of “edgy,” and also because they are probably the two most frequently googled words at the moment. Nothing questionable going on!

Anyway, I have just, just started my blog, but I think maybe it has potential. It centers are stories from a smart, funny (is that too self-promoting?) woman studying philosophy and musing about life. It also has a kind of “blog therapy” theme with an advice and “mood elevator” section. I really enjoy the writing. I’d really like to get decent activity on it, so I’m very glad I found your page here!

  71. Hello!

My name’s Andy and I’m an aspiring musician, writer, and pro blogger. I live in the small town of Celina, Ohio. I plan on moving out to live with my friends in August 2009. I created TheAndySan.com to help me improve my writing skills, discuss my interests (which range from playing guitar and singing to watching anime and reading manga), and give others some advise on life (or at least a good chuckle).

My online debut was on April 15th, 2004 with Andy’s Awesome Site of Awesomeness (sounds awesome, right?). I got my start blogging with Xanga on April 11th, 2006 as TheAndySan to communicate with my friends who went away to college. I then moved to a free WordPress blog on March 5th, 2008 in order to gain a larger audience. After receiving over 16,000 page views in a single day, I decided to get my own domain name and TheAndySan.com debuted on May 21st, 2008. Although I have yet to reach over 16,000 daily views again, my website’s constantly growing and evolving, both in the reader base and in content.

My main goal with TheAndySan.com is to help sort out and implement my ideas, thoughts, dreams, and aspirations. I want to use TheAndySan.com to help others discover themselves and see that there really are people out there that chase after their dreams instead of settling for mediocrity.

Come check me out at http://www.theandysan.com and share the insight with your friends! Be sure to subscribe to my free RSS feed to get the latest posts from TheAndySan.com!

  73. Hi, My name’s Marc-Anthony Arena, and I’m a technican and manager at Mac Recycling.com. I do new product reviews, but my specialty is discussing the politics behind computing – trust me, there’s more of it than you can imagine.

My blog is called Teknosophy, as in technical knowledge. I try to add as much humor as possible into it, and will begin to intertwine my adventurous life stories in there as well (see most recent post on eBay).

I’m doing this for two reasons – First, I have a knack and a passion for boiling down seemingly-complex computer devices and concepts to an understandable level (I’ve seen too many people, doctors and lawyers even, baffled by computers, and it’s really a shame). Second, it’s part of my job!

My name is Mia Hysteria and my blog is General Hysteria. (I currently use blogger, and have the corresponding address, but may move this to it’s own independent domain address).

One day I decided that should I go seek some ‘help’ and express all of my feelings, frustrations and heartaches whilst simultaneously screaming at the top of my lungs with fists full of hair, the ‘helper’ would surely lock me up with the words “General Hysteria” written on the outside of my padded cell. Not liking the idea of wearing all white with my arms strapped tightly at my sides, I started blogging instead.

I have 3 children, one with multi-diagnosed special needs. The blog takes a humorous, informational and inspirational approach to my experiences in order to connect with other women, parents and individuals as a whole.

Not only do I blog about children, parenting and special needs issues, but also about collecting myself into whatever woman I am to be now.

  93. Modern Poetics is a collection of short and some times abstract text.

Its concept involves the Electronic writing, or projection of the Inner Self, the difficulty in doing so and, for its composer, how hard it can be to look back upon such writings – yet this is not often the case for the Electronic reader. Considering the alter effect from the other side of the screen, initial reading of the text momentarily graces you with its shifting disappearance from existence, so the hardest of souls may feel some thing too. A timely push upon your Esc button will ease the feeling, –
Could this be so in reality?

  100. My blog is http://www.sarahealy.com

Blogging is my opportunity to share what I’ve learned through my own personal journey. It’s my goal that the stories and insights I share will help others to feel inspiration and understanding about themselves.

Readers who come to my blog can expect motivation, encouragement, and ideas for dealing with life experiences.

However, my blog is not about me being THE EXPERT. I know I don’t have all the answers! That’s why I encourage readers to share their own ideas and advice.

To me, this is what makes blogging powerful and rewarding; the synergy created by the interaction between the writer and their visitors.

I like sharing my stories, but it’s just as important that my readers share their own comments and suggestions. What they write may be the perfect thing for the next visitor to read.

On my blog, Awaiting the Crown, I share the life of a Mom who is a Home Manager, with 4 tots ages 7 and under ( 3 of those in 3 years. . . ).
I share mishaps, trials, funny things that kids say and the story behind it, and encouragement for all the other weary mamas out there, whether they stay at home or not.
I started this blog to share encouragement that I may find in a book or online or in person that other moms might find encouraging as well. Inspiration to help spur on a tired super Mommy, and I’m sure stuff that is just pure entertainment for others whose life is just, well, less harry.. . lol.

I’ve worked in the non profit sector for the last 14 years. Many of those years were spent in development and marketing leadership positions at organizations like the Red Cross and Heart Association.

In addition to staff roles, over the years, I’ve served as a development consultant to non profits across the US. 121. Thanks so much for the opportunity to discover new blogs and new readers! My name is Frankie. I’m a writing teacher, one-time freelance writer, aspiring novelist, and budding memoirist.

My spanking new blog is called Object Wisdom: Taking Stock of all My Things. It is literally about things — all the flotsam and jetsam we humans seem to collect and all the stories those things conceal. My posts are essays, some short and silly, some long and serious, always with an object as the jumping off point. Visitors can expect to find well-crafted essays (I try!) about life, love, and loss told with all the honesty and insight I can muster.

I don’t claim to have any particular wisdom, but I love reading true, authentically told stories that other people share, and I hope that you’ll find something interesting, entertaining, or moving in my stories as well. Most of all, I hope you’ll find something relevant to your own life, and that you, too, will spend a few moments looking around and taking stock.

  130. My name is Helene and I am a divorced woman and mother of three grown (???) sons. I’ve spent the majority of my working life in the investment industry, but my work certainly doesn’t define who I am. You’ll find me ruminating about politics, current issues, relationships, family, parenting and general things that interest or annoy me. I’m highly opinionated. However, my opinions have been tremendously tempered as I’ve grown older with a greater understanding of the little any one of us truly knows and how much there is to be learned. I’m much more open minded than I was 20 years ago. I am passionate about life, my family, and my friends. I am a creature who loves the comfort and privacy of my home – and am someone who believes in investing in oneself. I love the finer things in life but see the great beauty of some of life’s most simple things. I love the beauty of the outdoors, the ambiance and romance of fine dining, the warmth of sharing laughter and time with good friends, a glass of great wine or the taste of fine chocolate or ice cream. I love my country. I believe in standing up for what I believe in and in being open to new ideas and thoughts. Come and share yours with me, please.

My name is Elizabeth and the name I have for my blog is eof737 which some might say reads like a vanity license plate but it actually isnt. It is the initials of my name, my lucky numbers and birthday, and a reminder to me that I love flying and traveling.
Wow! Thanks for asking; no one ever did!
When I joined the 31Day Challenge hosted by problogger, I decided, for assignment one, to expand on my name to develop clarity – my elevator pitch. My name now includes eof737’s Mirth and Motivation.
My subject is motivational/advice/slice of life/ and newsy pieces. I inject humor when feasible and must admit that I am a very busy, working mom, newbie who needs to add more content to my blog. I am definitely working on it.
My welcome blurb talks about focusing on the positive and that is what I do. When people visit, they will see what I described above, some auto-generated flickr photos, my quotes ( I love quotes), my tweets, the limitations of my beloved free wp.com blog, and then, I would love to hear what else they find.
I love comments and questions about my work and will do same for my announced visitors. I have 2 other free blogs ( blogger – twitter oriented and another wp – photos and short, poetic comments on time) but will not add a second one….
Hope I covered my story for you!

I’m a former newspaper editor, so I try to make every entry magazine-quality, whether it’s a recipe post, a movie review or a humor piece giving the business to Oprah or Gwyneth Paltrow. My blog supports my freelance writing and vice versa, but I’m looking for my next big project. The greatest thing blogging has brought me is the friendship of so many other funny, smart, witty writers who have intimidated and inspired me.

This blog is about what happens when you “find yourself in adulthood,” and some lessons I’ve learned along the way. It’s part story-telling, part self-help and part infomercial on current trends in adulthood. But most of all, I try really hard to make you laugh.

Read more about it here: http://realdelia.com/about/.

I am an independent information professional, finding the information that businesses need to complete a project or move their business forward. My blog is about my life as an information professional. I talk about projects I’m doing, online marketing for non-profits and small businesses because I offer that to my clients, conferences I attend, networking, etc. I also add an occasional post about something silly, aka useless information. My style is still pretty formal – I write like I speak. I am trying to loosen it up a bit. But, hey, I’m still new at it.

  154. Hi everyone,

My name is Dave and I have been blogging since the early part of this year.
Apart from a few friends, I don’t seem to be getting much feed back from others, this was primarily the reason I started it in the first place!
My work is mostly digital illustration using Corel painter and Photoshop.

I realise that alot of my images are quite “finished” but I have also added some more sketches and looser stuff, I think these give a better insight into who I am and where I’m coming from!

Any way My blog address is:

    http://drscorpio.blogspot.com/

Again, any feed back would be gratefully received, constructive criticism is a good thing so please visit my blog for a view, there are some older postings so be sure to check them out, many thanks in advance.

  160. I know there are drastically different ways to live my life and I know how hard it is to dare to do things differently.
I needed a lot of encouragement but my driving force was that I absolutely believed that things needed to change. I only had to look at what society my daughters had to put up with, that enough is enough became screamingly obvious.
I needed to become the change I wanted to see.
My blog called wilmasblog.com at http://www.wilmasblog.com/ is all about my search how to live life differently and then my experience with applying these new ways, because as I had to bite the bullet and give it a go, I might as well see if I can inspire others.
And to be honest the blog is also a great way to get encouragement to keep going and to feel I am not alone in this.
Thank you Barbara for this different blog and your generosity and thank you all for playing.

  161. Hey all,

I am a poor graduate student living abroad in Germany, who loves to cook. Unfortunately, I am cooking for one in a kitchen the size of a small closet. (I have one sink, a small fridge, two electric burners, and no oven!)

Most cooking sites assume you are cooking for 4-6 people and that you have a full array of kitchen items at your disposal. But for the single gal or guy with a limited budget and a very basic kitchen, eating well can be difficult.

At Mama Griff’s Tiny Kitchen, I write about my successes (and failures) in the kitchen, sharing yummy recipes along the way, and giving advice regarding cooking for one on a limited budget.

I encourage you to check out my blog, and leave behind a favorite recipe of your own!

  167. To have faith you have to have religious beliefs, whether mainstream or alternative, right?

    Wrong.

Having faith means becoming aware of the faith you already have. And to do this is to find yourself leading a life of increasingly consistent and emphatic love.

My site, linked by my name above, includes a nonsectarian blog for discussion of spiritual and religious matters and a free eBook as well as further information about my book, Original Faith: What Your Life Is Trying to Tell You. If you’re a believer, the book may enhance your awareness of faith as a lived experience. If not, you’ll discover that faith is for atheists too.

  179. Hello, my name is Laura Hegfield. I am a Mom, a wife, teacher of Yoga and Jewish Spirituality, SoulCollage® facilitator and Kaizen-Muse Creativity Coach. I am also a person who lives with MS and Crohn’s disease. Most recently I was awarded the title “Spirit Gate-Opener”…I really like that so, I’ll add that to this list. (You can read more about what that might mean on the link I’m providing to my blog…turn’s out you are a “Spirit Gate-Opener too!)

My blog is called Shine the Divine: Creativity as a Spiritual Practice. Often the subject of my blog is ME, and how I am constantly discovering creative and spiritual approaches to witnessing my life that allow me to find meaning and embrace gratitude for the many blessings that sometimes show up in surprising “costumes”. It turns out, that when I write about ME, I am also writing about YOU. Being a Human is pretty universal topic. Most often readers tell me that my words uplift them in some way. What could be better than bringing a smile to another persons lips? You will sometimes find suggestions for spiritual practices intended to open us all to deeper compassion and our endless creative potential. At times my blog takes on a decidedly Jewish flavor…for this is often the lens through which I look at life. At the same time you might discover Buddhist concepts thrown in, for I am greatly drawn to Buddhism. For me, all religions/wisdom traditions share universal truths. The language may be slightly different but the messages are the same. Occasionally I will be adding interviews with kindred spirits who inspire me and I hope will do the same for you.

My name is Evan. I have found that authenticity is what gives me lasting satisfaction (a kind of quiet joy).

My website is called Living Authentically. It is a collection of processes you can use to live with authenticity (and so have less stress and more joy in your life). You will find a free newsletter (on personality and relationships) as well as a link to my blog and free report (called It’s Not About Success).

My guess is that I appeal to people who have been around a bit and are interested in self-devoelopment and psychotherapy. I think it will appeal to people who want understanding of their process and practical results.

If this doesn’t sound like you, but you are still interested, then you are most welcomce too. Hope to meet you soon.

  183. Hey Barbara,

Thanks for helping out. My name is Damon Day. I am a personal financial consultant and I started my blog at Damon Day and Associates about 4 months ago. I am new to blogging but I think I am enjoying it a little too much as I seem to spend quite a bit of time playing with new plugins and searching for good topics to write about.

My blog focuses on educating consumers about the options available for dealing with debt. There is a huge need for good, honest and unbiased financial information out there right now. Every where you look, scammer companies are out there ripping off desperate consumers with big promises and non action.

The aim of my blog is to help consumers avoid these companies and understand what they need to know in order to put their financial houses back in order.

Thanks for letting me plug my blog

  187. Hello! My name is Karina and I’m the author of a blog that I just recently started called A Sudden Unexpected Twist. It is located at http://suddenunexpectedtwist.com

The blog is simply about happiness and seeing the beauty in everything, even the most unconventional things in life. I love everything that is old and has a good long story behind it. I try to show this to people as well, through my weekly Beauty Today post (although I post 5-7 times a week), writing about the history and the reason why something is beautiful. I hope to inspire people and learn along the way.

Thank you for this opportunity, I think it’s a wonderful idea.

  189. Hi Barbara,

My name is Raul Ojeda, born in Chile, South America.

I’ve been writing (in Spanish) my perceptions of the surroundings and short tales, mostly about feelings, since I was five years old, so now, using this mysterious technology called internet and blogging I started to put my writings in English as a way to share my thoughts.

The name of my blog is Alien Ghost (www.alienghost.com) and the subject is basically to talk about this perceptions and feelings for other people entertaining while practicing my English.

My hope is that people who land in my blog will be entertained and have the chance to see things in a different way.

It feels a little strange though since most blogs I read seems to be for business purposes while mine is for self expression and sharing. Well, who knows, maybe in the future I’ll discover something that will motivate doing business too.

Veteran American expatriate, calling Moscow home for the last 17 years, I’m writing about it at my new blog: “Dividing My Time.” I’m also a photographer, historian, avid reader, keeping track of what I read in 2010, and I actually earn a modest income as a humor columnist.

I’m always trying to find the funnier side of life in Russia as I manage a family consisting of HRH, my “Horrible Russian Husband,” and Velvet, my 12 year old, who thinks she’s a horse. There’s also a half-written book, and now a life we divide between Moscow, Russia and Northampton MA: and the only thing they have in common is a total lack of parking spaces.

  238. Hello,

I am a Yank journalist living in Sweden who has started a blog about Scandinavian fashion. This region is known all over the world for its great design, but relatively few people know about the great fashion coming out of the region. I started the blog less than a month ago. But virtually all the people who find the site do so via Facebook. There must be other ways to find potential readers. All suggestions or advice are welcome.

  240. My name is Michael Peterson, I am a 29 year old male who is struggling with weight issues, and diabetes. It has become my resolve to lose the weight and become a better ME by my 31st birthday. I started the blog Hello Cupcake It’s Me! to help me stay accountable for my weight loss, and as a personal diary of what I have done, and what has/hasn’t worked for me, and the products I use.
Visitors to my blog will find product reviews, work out methods that I find helpful, recipies, and so much more.
