This NBOTW Will Make Your Laugh

We all love a good laugh. After all, laughter is good for the soul. It’s often written, “laughter is the best medicine”.

This “New Blog of the Week’s ” author has a fabulous sense of humor. When reading her blog, you may think she’s male bashing, but I see it as honestly expressing (some of) the differences between the male and female species.

In her post titled: “Men Work In Clusters”, she writes:

Lift the hood of a car, and invariably at least two male heads will dive in for a look, if not more. Moor our boat? Men race each other along the docks to help bring us in. Build a deck? Oh ya, they are all there

She then goes on to explain how women work more independently.

At the end of the post she asks, “why?” Here’s a perfect opportunity for you guys to educate us women. Are you up for it?

In a recent post titled: Bringing Down The Woolly Mammoth she shows pictures and writes the step by step progress of the removal of a large tree. It’s a funny story, with a happy ending. πŸ™‚

And for you guys, she has written a book review on “The Manual”. According to the NBOTW, the premise of the book is :

A true bad boy explains how men think, date, and mate – and what women can do to come out on top.

What a perfect time to visit her site and let her know if you agree.

Her translation of how the French pronounce GPS, from her post GPS Battle Of The Sexes – Ouch”, made me laugh out loud as I read her words.

Preceding that, was the first part of the series, GPS Battle Of The Sexes which asks the question, “Do men buy “gadgets” for their women because they know their lady would love them, or do they really want the gadget for themselves?”

Thankfully, this blogger found me. Anytime I need a laugh, or am looking for a funny story to read, it’s to her blog I go.

The author is Urban Panther, and her blog is named “Urban Panther’s Lair”.

Put your hands together to re-welcome Urban Panther to BWAB.

Welcome again, Urban Panther!

  2. Hi Barbara – that sign is hilarious. What a great choice for NBOTW. And her post today was about Canada too. I must admit, it was a lot different to the other stuff I’ve been reading on Canada but it was interesting – and funny.

    Hi Urban Panther,

    You’re very welcome!

YES! I did notice your avatar. You make it a real beauty! πŸ™‚ I knew you could do it.

Thank you for posting a thank you on your site. I’ll be over as soon as I finish this response and check it out.

It’s been my pleasure showcasing your blog. You’ll find many new friends coming by to see you and check out your writings. I know they won’t be disappointed.

  15. Hi Barbara!

I have posted a big thank you on my site, but also wanted to put one directly on your site. THANK YOU! The response has been overwhelming from people I already know, and many new visitors. And the night is still young, not to mention the week. And in the process I have discovered some wonderful new sites myself.

I am looking forward to all the new discussions and interactions. Mind you, Hycran and I might totally use up all the bandwidth or whatnot responding to each other’s posts. We both seem to be a bit long winded *grin*

    Thanks again!
