NSNBOTWs – 2 Gals From Down Under

As I mentioned earlier, for my New Blog Of The Week (NBOTW) series, I”ll be including some older blogs, as well.

In this edition of (Not so) New Blogs Of The Week, I’ve chosen two fabulous blogs written by women who live in Australia.

In no particular order, the first is named She-Power and is written by Kelly Rigby.

To explain what She-Power is all about, let’s listen to Kelly.

SHE-POWER is about You, Me, Us. It’s about Life and how we can get more out of it. It’s about MAKING CHOICES that honor who we are and everything we deserve. It’s about celebrating our successes, finding our path, staying inspired for tomorrow, and enjoying the ride along the way.

If you land on her blog, you’ll find links to posts such as:
How To Be A Babe At Any Age
Why Blogging Is Like Backpacking
Has Photo Retouching Gone Too Far?

Kelly writes from her heart. She shares her fears, her joys, her travels and her wishes for a better world.

The second gal from Australia is Robin Birch and her blog is named Let’s Live Forever.

To describe what her blog is about, I will quote her, as well.

This blog is about the idea we can live forever if we want to. It’s also for exploring whether we want to. If we find ourselves thinking we don’t want to live forever, for this or that reason, we can be sure those thoughts are the ones holding us back in life.

Some of the posts you’ll find on Robin’s blog are:
Feelings Are There To Be Felt
Think And It Shall Be So
The Money-Go-Round

Robin admits she doesn’t always write about mainstream issues, but what is great about her work is she digs deep and shares her views on topics we normally wouldn’t read about

Join me in re-welcoming Kelly and Robin to the BWAB community.

Welcome Kelly and Robin!

Enjoy your reign.

You’re tiaras are in the mail. 🙂

  2. Barbara, yippee I made it! Very happy to be showcased as a ‘Not So New Blog of the Week’ and especially glad to be showcased in such esteemed Aussie company. Robin is an excellent writer who always gets me thinking and her blog is quite unique in the blogasphere.

  24. Hey Barbara

    Great choices.

I remember the first time I came across She-Power … I thought I wasn’t supposed to read it since I’m a guy. Then I realized other guys hang there too and we’re more than welcome.

I might have stumbled upon Let’s Live Forever, but I’m not sure. This time around, I read the About and I think it’s an interesting focus. It reminded me of a few books I had explored – The Immortalist Manifesto and Ancient Secrets of the Fountain of Youth. I was hunting for some simple patterns and practices to help my parents age better.
