NBOTW Offers A Free EBook

what-everybody-ought-to-know-about-making-money-online I learned about this New Blog Of The Week (NBOTW) candidate when George Angus of Tumblemoose Productions guest posted on it.

Upon delving into the archives, I realized this blog is a treasure trove of extremely valuable information.

In her post titled Do You Recognize The 7 Early Warning Signs of Self Sabotage the last two warning signs listed are:

6. Trying to obtain wealth and success before you’ve made room for them.

7. Spending most of your time, money and energy immersed in activities that have little or nothing to do with achieving your desired results.

She then goes on to explain how we can correct each of the early warning signs.

This next post has a catchy title – Why Some People Almost Always Generate More Online Profits To quote her,

The people who make the most online profits are those who clearly stand out from the rest of the competitive pack. Think about it. These people place themselves and their businesses in plain view. They clearly distinguish themselves from the crowd in ways that their prospective buyers can easily spot them and are eager to do business with them.

When we think of the people who do make money online, the above is definitely true. They don’t follow the crowd. They show transparency, have developed trust and built a solid online reputation.

In a series on The 7 Natural Laws of Energy – How to Multiply Online Profits and Create the Life of Your Dreams. she teaches us,

Knowing the Natural Laws of Energy is absolutely essential to creating everything you desire in your business and life. But the real key to your success lies in understanding and learning how to work with them, instead of against them.

As a bonus, she offers a free ebook titled, “What Everybody Ought to Know About Making Money Online” – “How to Survive (and Yes, Even Thrive) In Your Internet Business”.

“i Profit On Purpose” is the name of this New Blog Of The Week. Mary Anne Fisher is the author.

  1. Hi Barbara. I was just over at Mary Anne’s blog and it was alive and well. The problem must be fixed. Another great find here Barbara.

Welcome Mary Anne. The point you made about “Trying to obtain wealth and success before you’ve made room for them” is a brilliant one! This is kind of you to offer this ebook for free.

  2. Welcome Mary Anne, and nice site you have. Read the post about the The Accidental Profiteer, and have to say I’m impressed. Lots of people talk about tools and techniques and tricks, but very few people focus on the human aspect. If you can teach people how to connecte and resonate with their readers, that’s a sure fire way to success.

Nice post and nice blog. I’ll try to visit once in a while. 🙂

  3. I love that she says we need to create room for success. I’ve been guilty of not creating room. I want my blog to grow faster, my speaking career to take off, and a publisher to want to publish my book. All this before I’m really ready for it.

I’m checking out her blog right after I leave this comment.

Once again, you’ve selected a great blog! I immediately visited Mary Anne and read her post, “Do You Recognize the 7 Early Warning Signs of Self-Sabotage,” which I found very helpful. I liked that she gave both the warning signs AND the antidotes!

  11. Hi Barbara – I was worried for a minute – when I read the description, I thought you’d lost the plot and chosen one of those scammy make money online blogs.

I was just checking out Mary Anne’s blog and it seems like she’s also been having problems with her host. I wonder if it was Bluehost too? I hope she moved. They still did not refund me what they owe.

  12. Barb,

I feel a little out of touch with the blogging world, so please forgive my ignorance!

I haven’t checked the links on this one (sorry again!).

I wonder about monetising a blog – nothing’s changed then! – however, that’s not because I don’t agree with it.

I am attracted to blogs which give a little of something of the people behind them. Not in any stalking or weird sort of way – just becuase I’m far more interested in people than anything else.

Better shut up for a little while. Been writing non-stop now for about 14 hours.

    Writers cramp….

Hi Sara – Thank you. That’s a great post, isn’t it? Like you I like how she shares answers.

Hi Catherine – Haha! Hers is definitely not a scammy make money blog or book. I think you’ll find it very helpful for what you’re trying to accomplish, as well.

Hi Ian – How great it is to see you here. It’s been TOO long, but I do know you’re busy with your booming business.

No, not much has changed in blogosphere. Except here, the NBOTW series is now on Wednesdays. Hope to see you again soon.

  14. Looks like a very good blog to visit and I will when I can get on – I have no doubts that Barbara picked another good fun and great learning spot to explore.

  18. I like the points.

    > Trying to obtain wealth and success before you’ve made room for them.
This is key. I’ve seen more people succeed with get rich slowly and succeed slowly … where their success snowballs and builds momentum. Otherwise, I’ve seen easy come, easy go.

    J.D. Meier´s last blog post..Avoid Mental Burnout

  19. Hi J.D. –

You’re right. “Easy come, easy go” happens to a lot of people.

Think of all the lottery winners we hear about who end up completely broke within just a year or so of coming into their vast fortunes.

Becoming wealthy / successful in your business can happen “overnight,” too. But unless a personal foundation that’s designed to accommodate wealth is in place, odds are against the biz owner being able to sustain or grow it.

Thanks for stopping by and sharing your thoughts.
