I love your idea of having a gravatar selection on your blog. I know I had a hard time picking one before I started using my photo, but my blogging friend Catherine inspired me to use an anime (to begin with) like she does.

I’ve been procrastinating with this because I know how important gravatars are. Even when folk change theirs, the impression made by their first ones lasts a long time. I still miss Davina’s red lady even though I enjoy seeing the real Davina now.

I was thinking of having a Gravatar selection process on my blog like American Idol and getting folk to choose which one they think looks most like my writing sounds…

I like that, “Kathy’s sticks out in my mind because I’m so jealous of her hair!”. You do raise a good point, even some avatars are more memorable than others.
