I delete any negative comment I receive that is unwarranted and lacking any critical insight. I figure that if it's my blog, than it's my rules. If someone feels like they want to attack me, I just delete everything they submit. After 2-3 deletions, they usually lose enthusiasm.
.-= Check out JennaM´s awesome post: Lindsey – Day and Night =-.

Interestingly enough, I didn't get negative comments until one day all of a sudden, I got a bunch of nasty ones about a story I wrote when I made some decisions as a pilot that could have ended up killing me (and possibly others in the air). I was slashed to shreds with hateful, hurtful and nasty comments.

I didn't know whether to post them or not and then realized that I wouldn't let those kinds of people in my house, so why would I let them rant and rave irresponsibly at my blog? They were deleted - some were spammed out of existence.

It's not that I don't want people to disagree with me - that's fine as long as it's done with honor and respect. We deserve that don't we?

Hi Natural,

Funny that you found this post...I forgot about it.

Words can hurt terribly, and can affect us for a long time. Dealing with them is the best way to release the hurt.

man, how come i didn't see this post. the related post thing helps.

Should you let the negative comments “bother you”. Absolutely not.

No we shouldn't, but truth is, sometimes, words hurt and for me not to acknowledge that doesn't seem real...

it's one thing to disagree with someone, it's another thing to tear them down doing it. i don't like it.

Natural's last blog post..Mindboggling
