Thank you for your kind words Cheeky,

I was just on your blog and love what you're sharing. Such originality.

I know what you're saying about having your content stolen. Unfortunately when we blog and put stuff "out there", others will happily claim it as their own - sometimes taking credit for it. Other times, just reposting what they stole from us with names and links intact, all in the name of having something to publish so the spiders and bots visit their sites. I wish I had a good answer as what is the best way to handle it, but I don't short of notifying them to take it down. (And even that may not work).

Where I've finally landed on this issue is that it will happen from time to time and if I start spending my precious time chasing the thieves, then they've won. Instead I now concentrate writing, posting, visiting other blogs, working behind the scenes and on other blogging activities where I have control.

In the meantime, happy blogging.

Barbara--I appreciate your blog tremendously. As a blog newbie I am still trying to navigate the net and perhaps find the appropriate place for my voice. Words tend to spring from my fingers generating my own bizarre outlook on life. In a short time I have sold some articles for content but feel the need to look for some sort of direction. Some of my content was stolen which then made me realize that if it was good enough for someone to steal, sell, and profit from---then I need to learn how to market myself as well as protect my content. I stumbled upon your blog when looking for information on how to do exactly that. I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate how you support fellow bloggers and act as a conduit for the blogging highway. Cheeky

Hi Barbara - That must have taken you a long time to put together. Thank you for including me - it really is appreciated, especially as I haven't been writing so much lately.

Now I need to go through all those blogs you've mentioned and check out the ones I've not already visited.
