She’s a thinker who shares her thoughts. When you read her words, you realize she’s happy with who she is. When you see her avatar, her smile will make you smile.
This “New Blog Of The Week” (NBOTW) writes stories of where she came from, what she learned and where she’s headed. Her journey is written in the pages of her blog.
Reading her “About” page reveals more about her. In part it says,
Her strength lies in taking a situation, responding intuitively, analyzing it rationally, learning from it philosophically and acting on it as a whole. In her experience all the hard work is worth it since it keeps her growing as a human being and a career woman while keeping her conscience clear, protecting her sensitive side and most importantly always increasing her passion for life.
Her philosophical side shows in the article titled “Life Suggestions For The Brazen Careerist” in which she observes,
We all build walls. Walls over time. Build walls to be in control. Walls to protect ourselves and our emotions from the abuse of our own lives and the world. We choose who we let in and when. Life experiences push the wall higher or lower over the years. Harder experiences send the wall soaring higher and higher. The wall is good defense mechanism. A very good defense mechanism. We shield our emotions from life rather than repair ourselves after every fall. A great idea, when you think about it. The wall takes much of the beating now. And the beating over the years makes the wall stronger. Tall and strong. This wall around us stands and protects.
She then goes on to write how those invisible walls can prevent fluidity in our lives.
This author loves to share her keys to happiness. To quote from her post titled: “The Key To Happiness And Balance Is Right With You, Just Learn To Use It..Part 2″ she says,
Accept that your thoughts, actions and emotions will not always be aligned with your principles. If they are not aligned, do not go off on a long wound battle with yourself. The whole point of watching yourself is to make your life better, through constant feedback. Empathize. Embrace the real you. Always give yourself the time and space to change. Work on changes in small steps, in little increments.
