Hi Everyone - Thank you so much for giving Blogger Dad such a warm welcome. It always warms my heart to see those in the BWAB community ban together and extend warm wishes to the new kid on the block (or is that blogk?) :)

I definitely agree that parenting can be the most unglamorous job. At the same time, I'd do it all over again for my kids. They're the best!

I'm already subscribed to the blog posts to Blogger Dad. Great recommendation, Barbara!

Welcome Blogger Dad! I will stop by your blog. When I first saw your name I had to do a double take for I thought you were Writer Dad. I think I might have seen you at Writer Dad's. That "staring into the future with fingers crossed" is really nice. I could really feel that. I've got two kids.

Hope you had a nice vacation, Barbara. I like this picture. That sure is a lot of wood to burn for the winter.

I can't eat any cookies you guys. I'm stuffed full of nachos tonight. I'll have to walk ten miles tomorrow.
