We often see ads with the pink “Energizer Bunny”, but this week’s new blog of week (NBOTW) credits his success to associating with”energizers”, e.g. positive people. People who are undoubtedly operating with a full charge.
I never looked at it that way, but it’s true. If you hang around negative individuals, soon you feel like all of your energy is being drained.
By leaving me a comment, this week’s NBOTW found me. Following the link, I found his inspiring site.
He quotes greats like Helen Keller, Napoleon Hill, Mahatma Gandhi, and Henry David Thoreau, just to name a few.
Here’s a sampling of his writings from “Overcoming Procrastination” :
This is important to know since success has always been tied to either luck or smartness and the fact suggests that neither has any nexus to success. It is plain simple recipe of persistence and constant acquisition of knowledge that makes one successful.
and in his 4 Habits Of Millionaire In Making he says,
Those who chase possessions are being possessed by worries. Worries to keep the lifestyle going when rainy day comes, worries about making others happy. In that rat race, they are not happy. They are the “millionaires in acting”. Who are then millionaires in making ?
And from a favorite post of mine, titled: 10 Pillars Of Successful Youth, he writes:
If we teach children the importance of conscious choices we make in life by example, they’ll become conscious about their actions.
This week’s NBOTW honor goes to Shilpan. His blog is titled: Success Soul
