Read about blogging, and you’ll also find having a RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feed on a blog is very important. I noted that I had a RSS “item” in my sidebar, but when I clicked on it, it wouldn’t work. I researched the HTML code for it, but couldn’t find anything wrong. After more research, I did find a second RSS feed at the bottom of the page (dah!), which works fine. So, for now, I’ll have that one available for my readers.

I tried deleting the RSS feed at the bottom of the page, thinking that might solve the sidebar problem;it didn’t. I ended up deleting the faulty sidebar RSS. At this point in time, how to have the RSS feed in my sidebar is beyond my realm of expertise, so I’ll leave the RSS feed at the bottom of the page for now.

In my internet “travels”, I’ve been noticing an orange button that denotes an RSS feed, so when I’m feeling more knowledgeable, I’ll pursue adding that to my blog.

It’s been written that blogging is easy, however, managing my blog has pushed me in the direction of learning more computer language and procedures. It’s been a fun journey (so far).

So, again I say, remember to check your links.

    Hey Barbara,

I also have one RSS feed button on my free wordpress blog. And it works fine, I am planning to buy a domain and get started with real blogging, and I am sure that there will be some pitfalls like this waiting for me.

But on a positive node I am sure that I will coup over them.

Thanks for this RSS information, I will be aware of it.
