You know you’re indexed with the search engines, because you read my previous article Are You Being Indexed On The Search Engines?.

Now…….how do you know how high your pages are ranking, on the search engines?

You can find out, in four easy steps.

1) Go to your stats program and find the “search strings”.

2) Copy one of the search strings.

3) Paste the search string into the search bar of the search engine.

4) Hit “search”, and look at the results.

Hopefully, your site is close, or at the top of the search engine results.

Repeat this process with other search strings.

If you’re interested in getting a higher ranking in the search engines, read a previous post of mine, titled, “How To Rank High On Search Engine Results.

I believe there are softwares where you can add many words and the domain name and it will show you the ranks for each word. There is also a FF plugin I am using for this. Is much easier and faster!
