Merry Christmas!

This Christmas will be a major catch up time for me... so that next time when I get too busy, I have enough articles to last on...

HI Ian,

At this time of year, we all have so much on our plates, but I do find it amazing that we figure out a way to get it all done. I think it comes down to priorities, and realizing what is really important.

Christmas helps to remind us to count our blessings, and to reach out and help those less fortunate. If we could bottle that, can you imagine how rich our lives would be?

I've always loved Xmas and got into the spirit of it - until that is I got into business about 8 years ago!

I fear I've become a bit of a scrooge! Each year I hate the build up. There's always so much to do with so little time.

And this year, work-wise it's been arguably the busiest. I think (or rather hope!) it's just beginning to settle down.

I do though manage to cast off the scrooge mentality just in time for a bit of panic shopping and then switch off. So catching up with an article or two on a couple of my favourite blogs is probably the medicine I need!

So I do understand Cath's inertia. I do get there in the end though. And then I have the opposite problem. Trying to switch on again in the New Year and hating that work gets in the way of extending Xmas for a further 358 or so days.

When you have a chance, check it out. Hope it helps. :)
