For example, on my blog, I wouldn't even consider adding AdSense because our company offers web hosting and domain services. Often times, I blog about such things and the last thing I want to do is have other hosting companies ad's showing on my blog. That being said, unless you're worried about your competition possibly showing up in one of the ads, it probably won't matter much to your readers if there's some Google AdWords links as long as it doesn't interrupt them too much. A better way might be to go the affiliate route to generate some income on your blog. Are there products you've tried that you stand behind which your readers might be interested in? Is there an affiliate program for it? That might be a good route to go. There just doesn't seem to be any more time during the day for me to focus on this.
